Another state in Germany is also planning to introduce fees in the coming years. There has been a latest article about it in the "Spiegel" Newspaper and here is a translated version of it. With a new fee for foreign students, North Rhine-Westphalia wants to improve its education budget. The CDU and the FDP have agreed on Friday in their coalition negotiations to demand 1500 euros per semester from every student coming from a country outside the European Union.
