Q: What are the prospects for computational mechanics? Since many students finish their studies each year, are there jobs for this sector?
A:
One thing that we would like to say is that, let it be any sector; if there aren't any jobs or prospects then the course will not be available in the University. Most of the universities have tie-ups with industries and they offer courses/modules according to the latest trends. If you work hard, learn German upto a conversational level; then there is no need to worry about jobs.

Q: What is the average salary for a Masters graduate?
A:
This depends on lot of factors like experience, company in which you apply, etc., We have seen lot of our friends with around 50k Euros per year and some of them working in startups with quite less amount. It all depends on your passion and your perspective of importance.

Q: Do we have to appear for direct interview to get German Student VISA?
A:
Absolutely, Yes!! You need to appear in-person and you can book your appointment in one of the many consulates/embassy of Germany in India/your home country.

Q: Will the VISA interview be in English?
A:
Most of the time, Yes! But, if you are going to Germany for a German course or a course with minimum of B1 or higher level of German competency, then there might be some questions in order to test your German skills. But, there is nothing to worry as the Interviewer will understand your situation and will not be that tough.

Q: Does all the courses have 2 intakes? Winter & Summer?
A:
It depends on the course and university. Some of the courses take applications for both the intakes and some courses have only Winter intake. You can check this in the DAAD website.

Q: How many months of VISA will we get after our studies?
A:
According to our knowledge, Indians will get upto 18 months of Job-Search/Work-Search VISA.
