Most of you would have read our previous article about how old Indian passports with perforation are not being accepted for the German Visa applications. If you haven't read about it, please do check it out here.
So, this became a huge topic of discussion on social media and many candidates were worried about their VISA and thus there were a lot of tweets to the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA), India to solve this problem.
It has come to our notice that, after all these hustle in Facebook, Twitter and Emails the German consulate has removed the Notice of not accepting the passports. We cannot see that statement in their website and also there have been some conversations in the Facebook groups that, the Consulate has started accepting the old passports as well.
Do you know, anyone who applied for VISA after 19-Feb-2018? Or do you know anyone else's expereince with the same? Then, please do comment it below this article, so that others will also be educated regarding this situation.
Is this issue sorted out now .? Do the German consulate accepts the new Indian passport ., i.e, with perforated serial number on all pages ..?
