Racism & Xenophobia in Germany | Should you be worried?

With the recent elections in Germany, the "Alternative für Deutschland" party has won a considerable amount of votes this time. This party is known for its right wing policies and the people are against foreigners, non-German people, etc., In the last election this party had just meagre 5% of the votes, but this time it has emerged as the major party from the Saxony(sachsen) region with Dresden as the main point.

      I am no one to give an opinion or conclusion about the German elections. This article is more of a news to anyone coming new to Germany. I have been living in Saxony for the past 3 years and I haven't faced any problems. But, I cannot guarantee on what may happen in the future.

No online booking provision is available for Mumbai Consulate. I got the visa interview date for 4th of January 2018 at 9 AM. I reached the Mumbai German consulate at 8:00 AM (Nariman Point). At around 8:15 AM the security guard asked all the applicants to stand in a line and proceed one by one from the main gate for security check. Once you enter the main gate, they ask you to carry only your files and documents and ask you to switch off your mobile. Is it a good idea to join the private universities in Germany?

Germany has lot of "public" universities which offer zillion courses in most of the engineering/science disciplines. But still, there are some students who like to apply for the "private" universities which has better acceptance rate on a comparative basis. The application process for these private universities are much simpler and doesn't take much effort.
