A warm welcome from Unofficial: Studying in Germany team. We are a group of Indian students studying in Germany, working together to make this platform a useful and informative one for all those studying, living and aspiring to come to Germany. We aren't consultancy or advisories and we don't make money out of it, but we are here to portray the reality of studying/living in Germany and help those in need, to get a picture of how it will be. We have almost 20,000 visitors per month in our website and further more in our Facebook page.

We are very much interested to give more UNIQUE and diverse content to our readers and hence we would like to invite you to write a GUEST BLOG or CROSS BLOG. We would like to hear your good/bad/sad/happy incidents you've faced in Germany. It doesn't matter, whether you are a professional writer or not. All it takes is the first spark to start writing, which will take you along.

There are lot of threads in the Facebook groups, which gets lost over time and it becomes difficult for the new-comers to find out the solution to their problems. If you have the desire to help others or if you would like to SHARE your experiences in Germany with others then, we are glad to welcome you to our platform.

Name: Vedant Gandhi My German Visa experience – Mumbai Consulate, 15th June 2017 University: University of Applied science stuttgart (HFT Stuttgart) Course: Master's International Project Management (Infrastructure, Building, Real Estate) For booking my appointment I mailed them on their helpline email id as the website gives us option of doing it by calling them or by mail. I got a automated reply from them that we will reply to me within two working days. So i waited patiently for two days but didn't got any. finally on third day i called them asking my status. there was a foolish lady on other side who said i need to mail them to book a appointment. I explained her that i had already mailed vfs and blasted her for not replying back. after which she checked and said we will reply to you immediately. Another State in Germany to introduce tution-fees | #MustRead

Another state in Germany is also planning to introduce fees in the coming years. There has been a latest article about it in the "Spiegel" Newspaper and here is a translated version of it. With a new fee for foreign students, North Rhine-Westphalia wants to improve its education budget. The CDU and the FDP have agreed on Friday in their coalition negotiations to demand 1500 euros per semester from every student coming from a country outside the European Union. The black-yellow coalition plans to put the money into the universities of the country. They could take up to 100 million euros per year in the medium term, said FDP boss Christian Lindner. He spoke of an "innovative way to improve the quality of teaching in NRW". As a result, politicians have a similar course to their colleagues in Baden-Württemberg.
